Our Process
From first message to a finished liner, laid out the way we actually run a project.
STEP 1
You reach out
A message through the contact form, an email, or a phone call during business hours. We ask a handful of questions up front — pool age, liner age if you know it, and what you're noticing — so the inspection visit is useful from the first minute.
STEP 2
Inspection & estimate visit
We come to the pool, measure it properly, check seams, wrinkles, fade and the cove, and bring liner swatches so you can see the texture and pattern options in person. You get a written estimate comparing a standard and a textured liner for your specific pool.
STEP 3
You decide, on your own time
There's no pressure to book on the spot. The estimate is yours to review, and if a renovation package makes more sense once you've seen the numbers, we'll walk through that option too.
STEP 4
Scheduling
Once you approve the estimate, we confirm a date. Spring books up fastest; summer and early fall usually have shorter lead times. We'll give you a realistic window rather than a vague "soon."
STEP 5
Removal, prep and installation
On the scheduled day, we drain the pool, remove the old liner, prepare the walls, floor and cove, then fit and seal the new liner around every step and fitting. For renovation packages, coping and step-edge work happens as part of the same visit.
STEP 6
Refill, chemistry and follow-up
We refill the pool and walk you through the first-fill chemistry steps — what to test, what to add, and what to expect in the first days. We check back once the water and liner have settled in to confirm everything looks right.
How long does the whole process take?
From first contact to a filled pool, most standard replacement projects run two to four weeks end to end — a few business days to arrange the inspection visit, time for you to review the estimate, and then a wait for the next available installation slot, which varies by season. The installation day itself is usually a single visit.
Renovation packages that include coping and step-edge work can take a day or two longer on site, since the additional prep and finishing steps are scheduled into the same visit rather than split across separate trips.
Built around how you use the pool
Families with a short swim season
We schedule around spring opening so you lose as little of the season as possible.
Owners planning ahead
Booking an inspection in the off-season means an earlier installation slot once spring arrives.
Anyone who wants it explained plainly
We talk through the estimate line by line — no jargon left unexplained.
Where we work
We're based in St. Catharines and cover the surrounding Niagara region. See our exact location on the map on the home page, or ask us directly if you're outside the immediate area — we're often able to accommodate nearby municipalities, and we'll tell you honestly if a project is too far for us to schedule reliably.
What stays the same, job to job
Every pool is a little different, but the sequence above doesn't change: inspection first, written estimate second, and nothing scheduled until you've approved it. We've found that sticking to the same order on every project, whether it's a routine replacement or a full renovation package, is what keeps estimates accurate and installation days free of surprises.
