Pool liner inspection, replacement and renovation for homeowners across St. Catharines and the Niagara region.

Liner Inspection and Estimate Visit work on a Niagara-area pool

Liner Inspection & Estimate Visit

The inspection visit is where every project starts. We walk the full perimeter of the pool, checking seams for lifting, looking for wrinkles that trap water underneath the liner, and noting how far the colour has faded against a fresh sample.

From there we measure the pool's exact shape — depth changes, steps, skimmer and return positions — because an off-the-shelf liner size rarely fits a real Ontario backyard pool cleanly.

You leave the visit with a written estimate that compares a standard vinyl liner against a heavier textured option, so the decision is based on numbers rather than a sales pitch.

$140 CAD

  • Seam, wrinkle and fade check against the pool's full perimeter
  • Water-level and liner-track inspection
  • Written estimate comparing standard vs. textured liner
  • Entirely your decision whether to move forward after reading it

Standard Vinyl Liner Replacement work on a Niagara-area pool

Standard Vinyl Liner Replacement

Once you approve the estimate, we schedule a date and drain the pool. The old liner comes out carefully so we can inspect the walls and floor underneath for anything the liner had been hiding — a soft spot in the cove or a rough patch near a fitting.

Wall and floor preparation is not a rushed step; a liner only lasts as long as the surface underneath it is smooth and sound. We patch and smooth before the new liner goes in.

The new liner is cut and fitted to the measurements taken at the inspection visit, then the pool is refilled. We stay through the first-fill chemistry steps so you know exactly what balance you're starting from.

$700 CAD

  • Full drain and removal of the worn liner
  • Wall and floor surface preparation
  • New vinyl liner cut and fitted to your pool's measurements
  • Refill and first-fill chemistry walkthrough

Premium Textured Liner Renovation Package work on a Niagara-area pool

Premium Textured Liner Renovation Package

Some pools need more than a liner swap. The premium package pairs a heavier textured liner with coping touch-ups and step-edge refinishing, scheduled as one combined project instead of three separate visits spread across a season.

Coping work focuses on the edge where the liner meets the deck — a common spot for wear that a liner-only replacement leaves untouched.

Step-edge repair addresses chipping or roughness on pool steps, finished to match the renovated liner so the whole pool reads as refreshed, not patched.

$1,340 CAD

  • Heavier textured vinyl liner
  • Coping touch-ups around the pool edge
  • Step-edge repair and refinishing
  • Scheduled as a single combined project

Who this is for

Homeowners

Most of our work is residential in-ground pools around St. Catharines, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Thorold.

Property managers

We also handle liner work for small multi-unit properties with a shared pool, scheduled around resident access.

First-time liner replacements

If this is your first replacement, the inspection visit is written in plain language so you understand your options.

This isn't the right fit for fibreglass or concrete-shell resurfacing — our work is specific to vinyl-liner pools.

About our pricing

The prices shown above are starting figures for a typical pool size and liner type. Your final figure depends on the on-site assessment — pool dimensions, step configuration and any wall or floor repair the inspection finds. We always confirm a firm number in writing before any work begins, and nothing is scheduled without your sign-off on that estimate.
